Author, Terence Mitford owns the domains terencemitford.com and Rexor Publishing, Rexor Press, and Rexor Books. Data collected from readers and subscribers will be processed in compliance with the new General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) which take effect on 25th May, 2018. This privacy policy has been updated in accordance with the new regulations.

All information or correspondence between visitors, readers, and this site will remain confidential and will not be shared.

WHEN IS INFORMATION COLLECTED AND WHAT TYPE OF INFORMATION IS COLLECTED?

Data is collected when readers subscribe via email to receive a free book, or to be notified of News and Offers, or when joining my Launch Team or Advanced Readers Team. The information collected is an email address and the name given by the subscriber at time of sign-up. No sensitive information is requested or collected. Your data is held in the form of an email list.

No information is transferred to, or received by, this site from readers purchasing my books from Amazon.

LAWFUL BASIS FOR PROCESSING YOUR DATA.

GDPR requires a lawful basis for processing and using data. You will only receive promotional emails from Terence Mitford if you have voluntarily opted-in for News & Offers, the Launch Team, or the Advanced Readers Team. Your data is processed, stored, and used in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations.

HOW WILL YOUR INFORMATION BE USED?

I will use your email address to contact you with news of current and future releases of my books and may occasionally send you information I consider relevant to your interest in my books or books in general. I will also use your email address to deliver free books (where appropriate).

HOW WILL YOUR INFORMATION BE STORED AND PROTECTED?

Your data is held on the relevant list of subscribers and stored in my Mailchimp Account. Mailchimp is a popular email marketing company for small to medium size businesses. Access to my account is password protected and used solely by me, Terence Mitford.

MARKETING

The only marketing involving customers data is via emails.

You may request a copy of data held about you by emailing me at terence@terencemitford.com. Corrections or changes can be made by contacting me at the same email address (above). You may request your data to be removed and deleted at any time and any such request will be actioned forthwith. You may also unsubscribe at any time from any or all lists you have previously subscribed to by using the link at the bottom of a relevant email from each list, or by emailing me at terence@terencemitford.com.

 COOKIES

Cookies can be used by companies to track your activity on their site to aid them with their marketing. I do not use cookies to track your web activity and have no plans to do so. 

OTHER WEBSITES

I sometimes offer links to Instafreebie and Bookfunnel to deliver free books to subscribers and these sites are bound by the same regulations if serving subscribers in the European Union and the UK. Please refer to their respective Privacy Policies if using their links.

CHANGES TO PRIVACY POLICY

 All subscribers submitting data (name & email addresses) directly to my site or via Instafreebie or Bookfunnel will be notified by email of any changes to this privacy policy.
